Peugeot has developed separate grinding mechanisms for salt and pepper; we suggest you use the mill made for each to ensure superior results. The pepper mechanism features a double row of helix-shaped teeth that crack peppercorns twice for the perfect grind. Peugeot’s salt mechanism is designed to crush coarse cooking salt. The stainless steel construction resists corrosion from moist salt.
